Hospitalized Children, Lausanne-switzerland
“AClem Foundation” donated 5'000 Sfr. to the P.A.S. Association of Thioleyres (VD). The association prepares, accompanies, and supports hospitalized children and children with hospitalized close relatives suffering from a serious disease. Mr. Jean-Claude Demers and P.A.S. meet with patients before scheduled surgeries, offer medical play therapy and psychological support.
A Hospital for Untouchables, South India
“AClem Foundation” supported the project VISION FOR ALL with 5'000 Sfr. The project aims at the construction of an ophthalmological hospital and a gynaecological unit in the Andhra Pradesh province in the South of India. This is a region populated by about 75 million where most belong to the untouchable caste and live under the poverty line, in unspeakable sanitary conditions, and are discriminated against. A variety of professionals are in charge of the project. Among them MD A. Mermoud, business man A. Fragnière of Brétigny, Prof. Hohlfeld of Lausanne's University Hospital as well as a Swiss ophthalmological group.
